to build the Merion Friends Meeting House and wed Gainor Roberts in the first marriage ceremony held at the Merion Meeting House on 3-20-1684. In this website I have tried to follow my family from that time to today. It has been a fascinating and, at times, frustrating experience. In the process I have connected my family to the American Revolution and the Civil War. As a result I am now a member of the "Sons of the American Revolution" and the "Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War".
